You are now on the page Yachtmaster - Booking & Charter.

This portal, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of Latina and the National Park of Ulysses, has the presumption of being the only online booking site for boats used for rental and leasing activities.
Through it, a user can look for both domestic and international boarding at the cabin (choosing the type of boat, departure date and preferred destination) or search for a boat in exclusive use in Italy or abroad by choosing type of boat, date of embarkation and port boarding).
The search is very intuitive and shows the results both on the map and in text format. It is also possible to make comparisons between boats, services offered and price ranges.
Important to underline that the portal Yachtmaster.it Booking & Charter.net is integrated, through a special application, on Facebook (to page Yachtmaster.it Booking & Charter.net).
This allows to make 'social' the information of the owners and potential users, who can then find themselves on facebook and exchange information on individual cruises, boats or groups of friends to 'organize' their holidays, exchanging information, talking to each other and perhaps, becoming traveling companions.

USER MANUAL

As soon as you have access to Yachtmaster - Booking & Charter you will find a map of Italy in front of you and above it some fields that allow you to make choices in order to find the boat more responsive to your needs.

You have two main choices to make, if:

  • BOOK ONE OR MORE CABINS - choice that means you are looking for an individual boarding to the cabin and will share the boat with other people.
  • You will be offered only boats that allow you to make cruises by booking only a portion of the boat, or a cabin. The types of cabins that can be booked and their number vary depending on the layout of the boat and could be single, double, double, triple, sofa beds in the dinette, etc. Those looking for individual boarding will mainly be interested in choosing:
      the type of boat
      the cruise start date
the navigation area or the cruise itinerary (ex: Ponza)

  • RENT A BOAT IN EXCLUSIVE USE - choice that means that you are looking for a boat exclusively at your disposal and you will not share it with unknown people, but only with those that will be part of the Vs. any crew.
  • This choice assumes that you are people who are familiar with the sea and boats and presumably in possession of a boat license. Those looking for boats in exclusive use will mainly have the interest to choose:
      the type of boat
the start and end date of the lease
the port where the boat is moored (ex: Milazzo)

Once the search fields have been filled and the SEARCH button is pressed, the results will be displayed on the map and all the boats found will be displayed via flags (where more boats insist on the same location, the number of the boats will be displayed and clicking on this will show the individual boats).

If you want, you can also view the search in text format, by clicking on the top flag called BARCHE TROVATE A list of boats responding to the search criteria will appear.

Now by clicking on the flags or on the text line of one of the boats that appear, you open the card of the single boat and you can view:

THE BOAT - description of the boat and photos.
TECHNICAL DATA - all the constructive characteristics of the boat (length, width, tonnage, number of beds, n ° bathrooms, construction year, etc.)
EQUIPMENT - all on-board equipment, both those relating to safety, and those relating to comfort and liveability
AVAILABILITY AND RESERVATIONS - that is a sort of calendar open on the period selected during the research phase (start date, end date). On it appears the situation of the specific boat for the specific period.

Now depending on whether you have sought a boarding in the cabin or a boat in exclusive use the booking card differs:

If I board the cabin, a card opens with the following flags at the top:
The cruise - you will see the name of the cruise, the date of disembarkation, the number of days the name and the description of the boat
Itinerary - read the port of embarkation and disembarkation as well as the descriptive notes of the cruise. In addition, at the top a Flag named MAP will allow you to view a map with the itinerary of the cruises and the locations touched.
Bookings - you can choose the type of cabin most suited to your needs (based on those available), the number of beds and the daily cost of the cabin.
Choosing from the drop down menu the number of cabins that you want to book, you can, by clicking on the BOOK CABINS button, display a summary .... by clicking on the CONTINUE button you will see what is included in the travel quote and what not.
By clicking on the CONTINUE button again you will see an overall summary and at this point by clicking on the BOOK button you can send the owner the booking.
In the event that you were not a registered user on Yachtmaster.it Booking & Charter.net, the system will invite you to do so, possibly using an automatic procedure that picks up data from facebook.

If the boat is used exclusively, a calendar card opens with the following flags at the top:
The boat - description of the boat and photos
Technical data - all the constructive characteristics of the boat (length, width, tonnage, number of beds, no bathrooms, year of construction, etc.)
Equipment - all on-board equipment, both those relating to safety, and those relating to comfort and livability
Availability and Reservations - a sort of calendar open on the period selected during the search phase (start date, end date).
On it appears the situation of the specific boat for the specific period.
Assuming that you need a boat in exclusive use for the period 15 August 2013 to 20 August 2013, the procedure to book the boat chosen for exclusive use is as follows:
If you are not already on the calendar for August 2013, go there ... Once you check them the period 15-20 August 2013 is free. Then click on the box for August 15th.
A card opens with the date 15 August 2013 as the start date, move to the next field and define a cruise end date (via a small calendar that will appear at the top of the box).
At this point a summary appears with the daily cost, the total cost and some optional items (ex: skipper, hostess, kit sheets, final cleaning, etc ...) By clicking on the items of interest x complete the armament of the boat, the system will calculate the related accessory costs.
By clicking on the CONTINUE button you will see what is included and what is not included in the quotation.
By clicking on the BOOK button you can send the booking to the owner.
In the event that you were not a registered user on Yachtmaster.it Booking & Charter.net, the system will invite you to do so, possibly using an automatic procedure that picks up data from facebook.

At this point your booking (not binding) has been sent to the owner, who will answer you either by phone or by e-mail

the use of the Yachtmaster.it Booking & Charter.net website is absolutely free

That said, depending on the type of subscription subscribed (the first 6 months are totally free) you can enter one or more boats, and the procedure is similar for each of them.

STEP 1

Click on the boats flag that you find under the helm image. A new page opens with a list of your boats. You will also find a NEW BOAT key. By clicking on it you can enter your first boat.

A page opens, which has a large number of flags (main data, technical data, booths, position, photos, equipment, prices).
You will have to open them one by one and fill in the fields that will be waiting for you. Starting from:

MAIN DATA - from the drop-down menu, choose the type of boat you want to enter, the number of cabins it has, the type of armament and year of construction, and the name of the boat. Below is an exhaustive description of your boat (max 1500 characters)
TECHNICAL DATA - insert the make and model of your boat, the length, the width, the draft and the displacement (in tons), the number of beds, the number of bathrooms and showers.
Click on the ADD CABIN button. It opens a new page where you will enter the cabins present, divided by type (single, double, twin, triple, sofa beds, etc.). From the drop-down menu, choose the type of cabin (eg double), specify the number of cabins of this type you have in the boat and if they have a private bathroom. Describe the cabin exhaustively.
Having done this you must define the daily price for each cabin created. Even if you intend to rent your boat in exclusive use, you must necessarily define the price of each individual cabin.
At the top you can find the PRICES flag, clicking on it opens a card where you will enter the daily price for the rent of the single cabin. Remember that the price refers to the single cabin and therefore you will have to consider how many people will host this cabin. For example, if the cabin is double, the price that you have to consider is that referred to 2 people who occupy it, if it were triple to 3 people who occupy it. Important ... the dates (from ..a) of HIGH, MEDIUM AND LOW SEASON you will define them at a later time.
POSITION - now you have to indicate on the map that appears, where is your boat. You can zoom in on the map to make it easier to find the port where your boat is located. You will see that automatically, moving the red marker, the name of the place appears .... which of course must coincide with that of the port of station.
PHOTOS - add now the most beautiful photos you have of your boat, reminding you to define which one you want to be the 'main' one.
EQUIPMENT - now you have to enter the equipment on board, putting a flag on each of the equipment installed on board.
PRICES - this page is very important. In fact you will have to indicate the LIST FOR THE BOAT IN EXCLUSIVE USE, EXTRA COSTS, INFO and CALENDAR SEASONS

LIST - enter the daily cost to rent or rent your boat in exclusive use (enter the base rental cost for low, medium and high season, then specify the extra costs and what is or is not included in the daily rent boat)
EXTRA COSTS - If you intend to rent or rent your boat in exclusive use, you can define from the list that there are extra costs to be charged to the customer. If you do not fill in any fields, no extra costs will be charged to the customer in the event of rental or rental. By entering an amount in one or more fields, the relevant item will become active and You can define whether to count the amount of the single item ONE TANTUM (once only regardless of how many days your boat will be rented) or DAILY (the amount multiplied by days of boat rent by your client).
INFORMATION - this card is very important, in fact it allows you to define what is included in the rental / rental price. This card is divided into 2 sections.
the first call BOAT RENTAL allows you to define what is included and what is not included in the case in which you rent / hire the whole boat.
the second call BOOKING CABINS, allows you to define what is included and what is not included in the case in which you make boarding the cabin, or rent to individual customers the cabins on your boat.
CALENDAR SEASONS - for each calendar year (eg: 2012, 2013) you can define during which dates to start and finish the high, medium and low season. Select the year of your interest first (ex: 2013) then click on ADD. You will see a card and at the season entry, you will choose the season of interest (high, medium or low season) and then the start and end date of the period. A calendar will appear on screen to simplify your choice. It is important that in defining the various periods You cover all 365 days of the year, otherwise an error window will appear. At this stage do not pay attention to the fact that some months of the year your boat will not work, you will then define the periods of non-work.
You can also define one or more periods of high and medium season, identifying it with different start and end dates. A simple summary table appears after you have defined the dates for each individual period.

After completing the data entry, by clicking on SAVE (at the bottom right of the current tab) you will have added your first boat. Of course you can enter as many boats as you want, but you can activate only the number of boats provided by your subscription (verifiable on INFO SUBSCRIPTION) link located at the top right.

Boats created, by definition, are not active. You must click on the button on the summary line of the boat you just created to activate it.

NOW YOUR BOAT IS CREATED AND ACTIVATED ON Yachtmaster.it Booking & Charter.NET

Importante dire che una volta creata la Tua barca essa, di default, viene proposta ai Tuoi potenziali clienti per l'uso esclusivo.

This is in fact the first stage where your boat will be placed on Yachtmaster.it Booking & Charter.net

All potential customers who search on Yachtmaster.it Booking & Charter.net a boat in exclusive use on the basis of:

    Boat type
    Date of boarding
    Boarding port

They could also view your own.

The owners have the sole intention of renting their own boat exclusively, (with or without skipper) and that do not provide any individual boarding initiative on the same (cabin charter) can go directly to STEP 4.

Shipowners who instead plan to use the boat to perform individual boarding (cabin charter), will have to go to STEP 2.

STEP 2

For Ship Owners wishing to perform, even boarding the cabin, the next step is to create ITINERARIES.

The definition that Yachtmaster.it Booking & Charter.net gives to itineraries is as follows: description of the navigation area which will then undergo a particular cruise.

This means that by defining an itinerary, you will have to say which port of departure and disembarkation are, which localities will be reached and possibly the landscape features and worthy of note subtended by the itinerary itself.
Do not tie the itinerary to the number of days you expect to be necessary to make it, but define only the characteristics of the itinerary itself.
Given times and modalities, you will specify them when you will define a cruise.

Click on the ITINERARIES flag under the helm image. A new page opens with the list of itineraries. You will also find a NEW ITINERARY button. By clicking on it you can enter a new itinerary.

A page opens, which has 2 flags (data and notes) at the top. You will have to open them both and fill in the fields that will be waiting for you. Starting from:

DATA - Enter the title of the itinerary in the field NAME (ex: Ponza and Ventotene), then enter in the field IMBARCO ADDRESS, the precise place where your customers will embark (ex: Es: Via del Molo Pamphili 10, 00042 Anzio (RM )). You will see, if the address entered is correct, that at the bottom of the window a map will open where a marker (flag) will be positioned to define the port of embarkation.
In the same way enter in the LAND ADDRESS field the exact place where your customers will disembark (this place or port can also be not the same of embarkation).
An important feature is that in addition to the port of embarkation and disembarkation, you can define the intermediate stages touched by the itinerary (eg: you start from Anzio, you get to Ponza, then you go Ventotene and then return to Anzio).
To do this, zoom in or out the map you are viewing, identify the intermediate steps and with the cursor positioned above one of them, click on it.
A card opens asking you to put the name of the place (ex: Isola di Ponza).
Do the same for each of the locations covered by the itinerary and the Yachtmaster.it Booking & Charter.net system will combine the various points with a line making it easy to identify the navigation area.
NOTES - In this field you must enter a text description of the peculiarities of the itinerary you are creating.

After entering the data, by clicking on SAVE (at the bottom right of the current tab) you will have saved your itinerary. Of course you can enter as many itineraries as you want.

STEP 3

Per gli Armatori che intendono effettuare anche imbarchi alla cabina, il passo successivo è quello di creare le CROCIERE

Cruises are mainly identified by a start and end date of the same and by an associated itinerary.

Click on the CRUISES flag under the helm image. A new page opens with the list of cruises already entered. You will also find a NEW CRUISE button. By clicking on it you can enter a new cruise

A page opens, which has two flags (data and itinerary) at the top. You will have to open them in succession to fill the fields that will be offered to you. Starting from:

DATA - By positioning the cursor on START DATE, a calendar will open from which you will select the expected start date for the cruise. By moving to DATE, a calendar opens from which you will select the end date.
At this point the system automatically calculates the cruise duration days, giving you the possibility to manually change the automatically calculated number. You have the possibility to insert in the DISCOUNT field a percentage value to subtract from the amount that the system will calculate (ex: 15%). The DESCRIPTION field, allows you to describe the cruise created (eg: 3 days sailing between Ponza and Ventotene).
At this point you will have to choose from the BOAT drop-down menu one of your boats (which you have already created and which must be active) and from the TARIFF field, the season to combine with this cruise (HIGH MEDIUM and LOW season).
ITINERARY - This card has a CHOOSE ITINERARY button. Pressing the button opens a list of routes (which you have already created beforehand) and selecting one of them, it is associated with the cruise you are creating. If the system checks that no route has ever been created, you will be offered the CREATE ITINERARY key, which will allow you to create your first itinerary to be associated.

Once you have entered the data relating to the cruises, click on SAVE (at the bottom right of the current tab) and you will have saved your first cruise. Of course you can enter how many cruises you want to fill up your booking

It should be noted that the creation of a cruise is only intended for boarding the cabin. In fact, potential customers (individually or in groups), perhaps not particularly accustomed to 'sea things', simply look for a destination for their holidays mainly use two parameters .... the start / end date of the cruise and the place of the same .

Naturally, as long as the owner wants, it is possible to allow potential customers to select a boat in exclusive use, provided that the period chosen does not coincide with that of a cruise.

Important to say that once you have created a cruise, it will be transposed into a specific FACEBOOK page (Yachtmaster.it Booking & Charter.net).}

This feature has enormous implications for the visibility that will be given to your business. <br> In fact, our Facebook page (Yachtmaster.it Booking & Charter.net) we expect may have tens of thousands of users exploiting the effect of 'contagion' induced by the users themselves.

In practice, users of the social network will be able to:

read the Facebook user comments on your cruise
    leave comments on your cruise
click on the link associated with your cruise and be directed to your cruise / boat card on Yachtmaster - Booking & Charter
share with your friends facebook information read, through:
      sending emails to friends fb
the 'share' on your facebook page or on that of friends or on a group of interest
train sodalizzi (even among users who do not know each other but share the interest in a specific cruise)

STEP 4

The next step for the owner is to display the PLANNING.

Click on the PLANNING flag under the helm image. A new page opens with the planning related to the booking of the activities related to your specific boat. From the drop-down menu on the left of the tab, select one of your boats.

Done this you will see a monthly calendar that you can scroll using the two arrows (forward and back) placed on the sides of the date.

This PLANNING page is the one that allows you, for every boat and month by month of:

have a summary of the activities of your boat
view any bookings of your boat in 'exclusive use'
be able to define days or periods when your boat is 'not available'
create a new cruise from this calendar (booking)
book a boat in exclusive use or a single cruise directly as an administrator (this feature allows you to enter a booking in the booking not made directly online by your customer).
We strongly recommend using this input feature to keep your booking up-to-date and not create any overlapping dates or unavailability

To make your boat 'unavailable' (ex: for the days or months in which you do not want your customers to view and book your boat), just place the cursor on a free space on the calendar (which appears white) .

The cursor changes shape (a bold + sign appears).

Click on it and for that date your boat will be 'unavailable' and not visible and searchable by your customers.

In the schedule appears the writing 'not bookable' on the specific box.

By clicking again on the box associated with the unavailability, the specific date becomes available again

On the other hand, if you click on one or more boxes that underlie a cruise, the specific cruise card opens allowing you to change the structure of that specific cruise.

STEP 5

The next step for the owner is to view the BOOKINGS.

Click on the BOOKING flag which is below the helm image. A new page opens with a summary of the reservations made by your customers.

You will see a list of reservations, from the most recent to the oldest, and for each of them you can change the features, enter the deposit left by the customer and when you have the final confirmation of the reservation, change its status from CONFIRM TO CONFIRMED.

That said, when you receive a reservation from a customer, you will be notified immediately by an email.

At this point, going to Yachtmaster - Booking & Charter, under BOOKINGS of the administrative panel, you will know the name of who requests your boat (or one or more cabins), and you will be able to contact him by phone.

To view the specific reservation, click on the edit icon and the relevant tab will open, where, in addition to viewing the customer data, you can change the:

    costo totale della crociera
    inserire l'acconto lasciato dal cliente
    ricalcolare il totale da pagare
modificare (nel caso di prenotazione per imbarco alla cabina) il campo relativo alla tipologia e quantità di cabine prenotate. Infatti da un menu a discesa potrai modificare, per la specifica prenotazione, la tipologia di cabina prenotata (es da matrimoniale a singola), il numero di cabine prenotate ed automaticamente (o con procedura manuale) modificare il costo totale della prenotazione.
